Kevia Jeffrey-West began designing jewelry while studying abroad in Zimbabwe as an undergraduate. A few years later, as a PhD candidate living in Santa Barbara, California, Jeffrey-West once again took up her favorite college hobby and soon began selling her fine handcrafted baubles at boutiques across southern California. She officially launched her Kevia collection in 2005 – adopting brocade-impressed metal, artisan-cut jewels, and pounded bezel settings as signature motifs. Nature is a major source of inspiration, as evidenced in the label's abundance of flower- and leaf-shaped earrings, bracelets, pendants, and other pieces. Kevia jewelry has appeared on Private Practice, Lie to Me, and other television shows, and has adorned the likes of actresses Katherine Heigl and Teri Hatcher. From simple stackable rings in 22k gold vermeil to necklaces made of asymmetrical buffalo horn, Kevia offers many versatile styles to suit every taste.
