About kicokids

You may not expect children’s clothing to be particularly artful, but Kicokids will convince you otherwise. The label’s creative director, Tia Cibani, constructs playful, intriguingly proportioned looks inspired by the work of artists Albert Delamour and Ritsuko Hirai. Girls’ outfits combine bold, overlapping prints with fun, origami-like details. For boys, Kicokids revamps prim classics like crewnecks and button-downs, with trompe-l’oeil pockets and irregular stripes. Even the accessories, which range from knit brooches to print-lined newsboy caps, resemble finely rendered crafts.

Creative Director Tia Cibani had 10 years of experience designing women’s wear before launching Kico Kids in 2003. The Kico Kids line is full of treasures and details without compromising function, comfort and fun, and it can be applied to all occasions. The Kico Kids label is a favorite of fashion press for boys and girls (up to age 12) and has enjoyed features in Vogue Living, Cookie, Parent’s, Milk and Baby Couture. You can find this line in key retailers worldwide like Barneys (New York) , Holt Renfrew (Canada), La Bon Marche (France) as well as high-end children’s boutiques throughout North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia and now, Kico Kids is an exciting and welcome addition to Gilt Groupe.
