Lavish by Tricia Milaneze combines hand-crocheted gold thread and glass beading to produce extraordinary jewelry designs inspired by vintage styles. Tricia Milaneze, Lavish’s Brazilian-born founder, started her Miami-based company in 2005 while working full-time as an immigration attorney and raising two children. An artist since childhood, Milaneze eventually chose jewelry-making over practicing law and today earns a seven-figure salary from her craft. Milaneze designs every bracelet, necklace, and set of earrings herself; her brother oversees their production at a Brazil-based factory. Stand-out pieces include dangling teardrop earrings made of beige beads; classic flower-shaped studs made of faux pearl and ivory glass beads; and a “woven” bracelet featuring faux pearls set in lacy, delicate 18-karat yellow gold fill.
