Leyendecker
It’s always been quality above quantity for Leyendecker designers Jessica Moss and Lisa Guajaro, who in 2006 launched a simple but masterfully constructed six-piece collection. Though refreshingly minimalist, the clothes are designed to wear beautifully, lending shape, contour and length to the female form. Stark black and white palettes are often punctuated by colorful tribal patterns or Mesoamerican motifs. The daring label is most recognized for its leggings — sexy peekaboo numbers that play nicely off the brand's slashed T-shirts and backless blazers.
