A native of Jerusalem, Liora Manné began her career designing textiles for New York’s fashion industry. Turning her talents to her own line of fabrics, she invented a process called Lamontage that combines handmade artistry with high-tech needle-punching; the result was a non-woven acrylic textile that is as beautiful as it is sturdy. In 1997 Manné stepped into the world of rugs, designing hand-knotted, hand-tufted, and machine-loomed floor coverings. She’s also recently added handbags, shoes, and cuff bracelets to her repertoire.
