After losing enthusiasm for his investment banking job, Nick Bartley walked away from the world of corporate finance and launched Lucas Jack London in 2006. Despite lacking formal jewelry design training, Bartley set about creating rings, earrings, and statement necklaces that were not only elegant and sophisticated but affordable. He succeeded with flying colors — or multicolored gemstones, as the case may be. Lucas Jack offers up a stunning collection of 24-karat gold-plated pieces marked by satiny finishes, unusual geometric shapes, and glossy polished resin in colors ranging from basic black to bright mint green and neon orange. Equally conscious of social issues as well as fashion trends, Lucas Jack uses recycled metal scraps and donates part of the proceeds from every sale to children's organizations.
