Lulu Frost founder Lisa Salzer is a former art history student and the granddaughter of an estate jeweler, so it’s no surprise that she takes a conspicuously historical approach to jewelry design. Each of her one-of-a-kind pieces is a collage formed from found period antiques such as forgotten keys, long-lost room numbers from the Plaza Hotel, rare Art Deco charms, and Victorian shoe buckles. Black resin and crystal drop earrings, velvet-tie necklaces accented with glass stones, goddess rings, and other Lulu Frost baubles blend early 20th-century chic with a touch of mysticism.
