Lulu Frost
She’s the granddaughter of an estate jeweler and studied art history at Dartmouth, so it should come as no surprise that the New York-based jewelry designer Lisa Salzer takes a conspicuously historical approach when designing her Lulu Frost line. Each one-of-a-kind piece is collaged from found period antiques — like forgotten keys, long-lost room numbers from the Plaza Hotel, rare Art Deco charms, or Victorian shoe buckles. With their unexpected mix of modern elements and stylistic treatments, each Lulu Frost piece has its own story to tell.
