Lunares founder Nima Oberoi got her start designing jewelry, and it shows: The San Francisco company’s tableware and decorative items feel like precious baubles for the home. Candleholders are made of gold branches; picture frames of shimmery bone; and organically shaped wine caddies in silver are among the pieces that have earned attention from Elle Décor, among other magazines. Artisans in Oberoi’s native India hand-make all of Lunares’s items from recycled and sustainable materials, and a portion of the company’s sales goes to providing schooling for its workers’ children.
Set the table for winter with these essentials — their warm, sophisticated style will make you forget how chilly it is outside.
From a mirror in the shape of a deer head to an ornate-yet-somehow-modern-at-once photo frame, the decorative accents on offer here are all offbeat, out of the ordinary, and on the mark for any hipster home. Mix and match with abandon – there are no bad combinations in the bunch.
