Maggy Siegel, an accessories designer in a previous life, founded Mad Sky Kids in 1995. Today, Siegel helms a thriving children's clothing company that employs sweat-shop-free labor in the United States and generates products coveted by celebrities and their kids. The brand offers about a dozen uncomplicated designs that pop with playful, loud fabrics — florals for girls, camo for boys — and matching hats and blankets are available, too. The clothes are earnest and sweet, and stand up to the test of playtime.
