Louise Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun, a famous female painter of the 18th century, is best known as a former portraitist of Marie Antoinette. Our interpretation of Louise as a History of Fashion Doll is inspired by our 10fully-articulated, Cissette, with brown eyes and long, curly red hair. Meticulously researched by our designed, she comes dress according to the fashions of her time. She wears a pink taffeta gown with white ruffles and white satin ribbon at the neck, a gold organza ribbon sash around her waist and pretty white trim at the edge of her sleeves. A black net shawl with black lace trim adorns her shoulders and black pumps are on her feet. Beneath the gown she wears a white tulle petticoat trimmed with white lace and white pantyhose. The final brush strokes for this appealing picture of Louise Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun are her rhinestone and beaded earrings along with the lovely, brown straw hat, decorated with flowers and feathers.
