About Maison Fabre

Maison Fabre was founded in 1924 in the famed glove-making capitol of Millau, a tiny French town with ample access to sheepskin leather. As one of the oldest family-run ateliers in southern France, Maison Fabre’s loyalty to tradition continues with brothers Jean-Marc and Olivier serving as the fourth-generation leaders behind the celebrated brand. The meticulously handmade gloves are lovingly constructed using “piqué anglais” (English stitch), a time-honored process that requires diligent patience and exception skill. Most members of the 11-person staff have been assembling the luxurious gloves for decades and are far into retirement age. Their dedication to artistry is exhibited in collaboration with prominent designers Ann Demeulemeester and Vanessa Bruno, as well as in the glossy, high-fashion pages of L’Officiel, V Magazine, and Vogue Nippon.

Made in France: Gloves by Maison Fabre

Maison Fabre meticulously handcrafts gloves at the level of art. These luxurious mitts — assembled in Millau, the humble French town known for fine sheepskin gloves — showcase a decidedly modern take on the centuries-old workmanship: Think quilted three-finger gloves, cropped driving styles in hyper-saturated patent, and luxe picks trimmed in shearling, cable-knit wool, and metallic rings.
