Remaining independent has been more than a business strategy for fashion designer Nicole Miller. Independence has also given Miller the freedom to establish herself as one of the most trusted names in women’s ready-to-wear and bridal dresses. Stints at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne taught Miller how to create ultra-feminine silhouettes that are both elegant and daring. Her strong eye for new fabrics and facility in classical technique make her every design unique — from a one-shoulder silk dress to a metallic taffeta wedding gown. Over the years Nicole Miller has expanded her product line to include bedding, handbags, footwear, belts, jewelry, anti-aging skin care treatments and cosmetics. She’s also caught the attention of Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, and dozens of other A-listers.
