Minnesota-based Nordic Ware has produced its fine bakeware, Bundt pans, kitchenware and cookware since 1946, when it was founded by husband-and-wife team Dave and Dotty Dalquist. The eco-conscious, family-owned company is best known for the Bundt pan, which it invented in 1950 – a creation so phenomenally successful that today there are nearly 60 million Bundt pans in America, almost one per pantry. Nordicware’s other triumphs (all still made in America) – Rosette Irons, Ebleskiver Pans and Krumkake Irons, egg poachers and microwave products – have all found their places in the nation’s kitchens (and hearts!) as well.
