"An incredible rug is an easy, timeless, substantial and "rich" way to add POP to any space. The texture and patterning in this rug is eye-catching, yet subdued enough to ground a room. I love the organic feeling in it's design - it's easy and feels comfortable. I'm all over the B&W for it's starkness and contrast - a great backdrop." - Drew McGukin

The Girona rug is hand woven using 100% hand-carded and hand-spun Himalayan wool. Swiss-dye. Pile height measures 3/8 of an inch. Spot clean rug with mild detergent.

Every Odegard rug carries the GoodWeave label by Rugmark, the best possible assurance that the rug was made without child labor.

Due to the handmade nature of Odegard Rugs, please expect slight variations in size and color.

Designer, humanitarian, businesswoman: Stephanie Odegard is each of these things and more. Since founding her eponymous carpet company in the late '80s, she's become world-renowned for luxurious, hand-knotted rugs that she creates herself and in partnership with a roster of international talent. Her contemporary designs are inspired by her love of craft and eye for color, and they draw upon her extensive travels as a Peace Corps volunteer and, later, with the United Nations and the World Bank. Adamant that Odegard Rugs be socially and environmentally responsible, she also serves as director of the Rugmark Foundation, which aims to end illegal child labor in South Asia.
