The label Odyn Vovk defies easy narrative. Founded in Los Angeles in 2009 by designer Austin Sherbanenko, a Ukranian American, the name means One Wolf. The clothes are suitably dark and mysterious. Collars are exaggerated, leather jackets are asymmetrical and hand-dyed, and silhouettes are spooky and slim. One story has been clear: Odyn Vovk, with its undertones of black metal and punk, has developed a loyal and fervent following.
