About Olasul

Olasul—the name is a combination of ola, meaning “wave,” and azul, or “blue”—is surfwear inspired by the Peruvian coast. The brand is helmed by Lorenz Korder Fort, a lifelong lover of the ocean who was born in San Francisco, raised in Peru, and educated on the East Coast. After working in luxury-goods branding for a spell, Fort began to yearn for a career where he could strike out on his own while maintaining a connection to his home country. He decided to start a company that would satisfy his quest for personal fulfillment and his quest for proper swim gear. Olasul now makes a range of trunks, tees, and sweatshirts inspired by the culture, scenery, and colors of Peru, and designed to keep you looking sharp both in the water and out.
