• The original outline of the carpet's design is slightly hidden under the newly recharged color
• The unknown colors and texture that emerge are unique to each carpet depending on the type of wool initially used in the making of the carpet
• Spot clean with a mild detergent

Founded in 1978 by Patrick Charles, this company’s original focus was handwoven flat weaves from Mexico. Eventually, Charles began covering chairs and other furniture with these textiles, as well as with vintage fabrics from Turkey. All are distinguished by hand-knotting or handweaving detail and high quality vegetable-based dyes. In 2006, Charles started commissioning master craftsmen to use remnants of unused Turkish kilim fabric to create intricate patchwork carpets in innovative overdyed finishes.
