Pierrepont Hicks has become the go-to source for top-notch silk ties, fancy pocket squares, and bow ties for men. Based in Minneapolis, Pierrepont Hicks is the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Kat and Mac McMillan, who derived inspiration for their haberdashery label after researching wool for Mac’s wedding kilt. Handcrafted from the finest European cottons, wools and linens, the brand’s popular skinny ties, reversible bow ties, lapel flowers, and pocket squares come in an array of bright colors and bold patterns. In recent years Pierrepont Hicks has ventured into designing travel accessories such as leather tie cases and striped “backseat blankets” made of colorful wool. Since its founding in 2009, the label and its dapper neckwear have been featured in GQ, Esquire and the Wall Street Journal magazine.
