These award-winning, self-propelled mini cars made their debut more than a decade ago in Canada, and have steadily grown into a worldwide sensation. Available in an array of bright colors, PlasmaCars are designed for children over the age of 3, but can support up to 220 pounds of weight. They require no motorization or peddling — just the back-and-forth twisting of their steering wheels, allowing energetic kids to reach speeds of up to six miles per hour. (Though we suspect parents will be giving them a go, too!)
