About Potomak Studio

Potomak Studio makes dreamy ceramics in a studio in Northern Italy, just outside of Venice. Potomak’s bowls, cups, plates, beakers and tumblers are made of bone-white porcelain and glazed with dreamy watercolor-like washes in colbalt or salmon, or bright and shining gold, copper and silver. Founded in 1982 by Donatella Parotto and Mauro Bonvecchio, Potomak Studio’s focus is on contemporary Italian porcelain pottery. What does that translate to? Objects marked by the hands that made them, with obvious brushstrokes and finger marks adding to the story of each piece, the individual texture. Refined yet unusual, with a quiet sense of humor, Potomak Studio’s porcelain is stunning, delicately colored, and waiting to add that little something to your dining table.
