Jewelry designer Jennifer Ondyak has always been five steps ahead of the curve. After working behind the scenes at Neiman Marcus, Marie Claire, and Calvin Klein, in 2007 the fashion veteran opened the NYC fashion emporium Privileged, which offers a quirky mix of casual sundresses and metallic accessories. The Privileged jewelry line followed a year later. Ondyak’s fun, feminine, and unusual creations vary from the refined and traditional (aquamarine hoop earrings, zodiac necklaces) to the unconventional: delicate gold charms shaped like pretzels, handcuffs, and cupcakes; cuff bracelets adorned with lion, butterfly, leaf and panther designs; and necklaces made from metal horse bits.
