Proenza Schouler
It’s hard to believe Proenza Schouler is less than a decade old. Since the label’s launch in 2003 by Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough (who were then fresh out of design school), it has quickly risen to iconic status. Over the years, Proenza Schouler’s collections have included everything from corset-like blouses to color-blocked evening gowns, all of which are impeccably constructed, and modern yet subtly sexy. The duo has received a long list of honors, including the 2007 CFDA award for Womenswear Designer of the Year, and counts Chloé Sevigny and Demi Moore among their fans.
