Disney - My Best Friends
This book features popular characters from the world of Disney, each presented in a short, simple story that's easy for a child to read. The stories all center around the ways in which friends help and support each other. * All of Winnie the Pooh's honey pots are empty! But his resourceful friends find a way to fill them again. * When Pongo the Dalmatian goes looking for a new friend, he finds one for his best pal Roger, too. * Nemo is a little fish in a big ocean but, with all his friends around him, he's not afraid to explore his watery world. * Little lion or Lion King - everyone needs friends! * What are friends for? Toodles has the answers for Mickey Mouse and the Clubhouse crew.
Sound button pictures appear in the printed text as their words occur in the story (sized so that story text and button text are equal for "seamless" reading). When readers press a button, they hear the word read aloud. In most instances a corresponding sound effect also plays, to help make the pairing of object and word more memorable. Pressing a button for a second time in sequence plays the spoken word, the sound effect, and then the word is spelled.
