About Puma Accessories

Puma is the product of a sibling-rivalry moment between brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler, who in 1948 resolved an argument by splitting their Bavaria-based shoe factory into two new companies: Puma, founded by Rudolf, and Adidas, established by Adolf. In addition to creating iconic suede basketball shoes, Puma has outfitted elite athletes such as soccer legend Pelé and was the first footwear company to use vulcanized rubber and foam-free midsoles. Over the decades the company has grown into a globally recognized lifestyle megabrand with an extensive accessories line that includes chic headbands, watches, backpacks, duffel bags, and women’s handbags — all emblazoned with Puma’s signature leaping cat logo. By synthesizing creative influences from the sports and fashion worlds, Puma accessories represent fashion-forward design at its best. This is one cool cat.
