Rikshaw Design founder and designer Catherine Fitzsimmons got the idea for her children’s clothing label after traveling to India and deriving inspiration from the block-printing techniques she discovered there. A seasoned traveler and former visual merchandiser for Ralph Lauren and Pottery Barn, Fitzsimmons presents an adorably boho collection of crib bedding and baby and kids’ clothes featuring prints and designs you won’t find anywhere else. In addition to sweet sundresses, nautical-themed bloomer sets and sunhats, and tiny rompers, Rikshaw offers many different variations of its signature garment, the kurta: a traditional shirt worn in India, Sri Lanka, and other countries. You’re bound to fall in love with Rikshaw Design’s playful and distinctive clothing.
