Riller & Fount
Named after two children listed on an antique quilt, Riller & Fount is the brainchild of fashion designer Marlena Ruiz. Launched in 2007, this L.A.-based women’s clothing label specializes in understated tunic dresses, blouson minis, draped-front tanks, gathered maxi-dresses, and halter dresses made from super-soft modal jersey and rayon fabrics. Rendered in basic black, bright hues, or metallic fabrics, many of Riller & Fount’s dresses double as long-cut tops over dark skinny jeans — one of the many reasons they've become so popular among SoCal starlets such as Kristin Cavallari and Rachel Bilson.

Casual June
Whether you’re heading out with girlfriends or meeting a date for dinner, you’ll want to be outfitted in style. Make a memorable impression in strapless chiffon dresses and embroidered lace tunics brought to you by some of our most popular brands. In the mood for something more casual? Kick back in rugby-striped tees, colorblocked sweatshirts, and sleek ponte leggings.
The Ultimate Dress Shop: The Sheath
Say hello to summer's most versatile, timelessly chic piece: The sheath dress. Like all of the best-designed objects, its brilliance lies in its simplicity. A slim cut flatters every figure, while an unfussy silhouette makes it wearable everywhere from the office to date night. Start with one that flaunts your favorite assets—a V-neck for dècolletage, a higher hemline for legs—then dress it up or down to suit every occasion. A tailored blazer adds instant sophistication; statement jewelry takes it to ultra-glam territory. We dare you to find somewhere you can't wear yours this season.—TRACEY LOMRANTZ LESTER, Editorial Director
