Mod-inspired wedges, classic sling-back sandals, prim ballet flats, boyish lace-up oxfords in neutral tones, sleek high-heeled boots in basic black: Rochas designs them all, using only the highest-quality leathers and enhancing each pair of shoes with contrast stitching and other fine details. Founded in 1925 by fashion designer Marcel Rochas, the label came roaring back to life in the 2000s with exclusive designer Olivier Theyskens at the helm. Hollywood A-listers loved wearing Theyskens' hyper-opulent evening gowns — many of which came with five-figure price tags — to red carpet events. Current artistic director Marco Zanini has picked up where Theyskens left off, designing contemporary clothing for men and women, leather bags, and perfumes inspired by Rochas' decades-long tradition of celebrating and promoting Parisian-style luxury.
