Rogan Gregory moved to New York in 1994 and started working as a consultant in the fashion industry to a variety of designers including Daryl K, Adriano Goldschmied and Calvin Klein. In 2001, Gregory partnered with his friend Scott Mackinlay Hahn to launch Rogan, his eponymous collection of premium denim and apparel. The first collection paid tribute to the roots of workwear, combining American utilitarianism and modernism with unorthodox shapes and constructions. From this first collection Rogan evolved into an internationally distributed brand that continues to fuse traditional, experimental, rural and urban influences with clothing, architecture and art. In 2004, Rogan established Loomstate, a casual clothing brand with sustainable development goals, focused on cultivation and use of environmentally sensitive materials, primarily made of 100% organic cotton. From 2005-2007, Gregory was also the force behind Edun, a sustainable line launched in partnership with Ali Hewson and Bono. The label has been featured in top fashion press from Vogue to WWD and in 2007, Rogan Gregory was the recipient of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. With two flagship stores in New York City and distribution in top stores and specialty boutiques nationwide, Rogan is an exciting addition to Gilt Groupe.
