NY-based San & Soni blends opposites — masculine and feminine, and Eastern and Western influences — to produce everything from tie-dyed dresses and puffy Lucian pants to tailored menswear-inspired suit jackets. Hailing from northern India, San & Soni — husband-and-wife design team Sonali and Jeet Singh — both moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, where they met and fell in love. Their attitude to contrast and balance is reflected in the combination of rich, India-inspired ornamentation and modern silhouettes that influence their complex women's collections. Super-soft silks, bright sequins, and bold prints define the San & Soni look.
Now that the weather is finally warming up, it's time to show a little leg. Have some fun — and avoid reaching for the same staples — in everything from patterned patchwork minis and bold ikat shorts to bird-flecked midis and congac cut-offs.
There's nothing drab about this crop of grays. Lace tops, striped turtlenecks, layer-ready vests, and comfy tees are joined by decidedly more daring pieces: just look at standouts like the dramatic silk trousers, the edgy asymmetric trench, and the woven canvas coat — from names like Marni, Derek Lam, Vince, and more.
The first day of spring is fast approaching, and you’ll want to be ready with at least one key item — a printed dress. Our selection includes minis, maxis, and lengths in between — covered in punchy graphics, delicate florals, modish polka dots, kaleidoscope motifs, and more.
Animal prints. Cool zigzags. Feminine florals. Our buyers are all about prints this summer, so they've rounded up a stunning array of apparel that seems to have them all. From vibrant frocks to delicate chiffon dresses, all of these picks make the most of subtle and eye-popping patterns. Strictly into solids? You’ll have to look elsewhere for stylish new threads!
