Longtime friends Satya Scainetti and Beth Ward launched Satya Jewelry in 2002 after both women had experienced several life-changing stints abroad. Named after the Sanskrit word for “truth” — and the nickname Scainetti acquired while attending a yoga-instructor course at an ashram in the Bahamas — Satya incorporates glittering gemstones and meaningful symbols in its designs.
