After working as the head designer for Helmut Lang (and Karl Lagerfeld before that), Siki Im has made a name for himself with his eye-catching, envelope-nudging clothing. Endorsing the belief that men’s clothing should be open to reinterpretation and revision, Im draws on influences ranging from Middle Eastern culture to American Psycho to create his modern, refined men’s T-shirts, blazers, slim-cut wool trousers and other essentials. Im uses updated silhouettes and sumptuous fabrics to breathe new life into staple pieces like the trench coat and suit jacket, proving that sometimes a little revision is a very good thing.
