Before starting Simon & Co., Simon P. Scott was on his way to law school. Good thing for homes everywhere that he didn’t go. Instead, inspired by his love of antiquities, Scott began making decorative apothecary jars in his own Los Angeles garage. The designs were quickly picked up by stores like Barneys New York and Fred Segal. Simon & Co.’s collection has expanded to include candlesticks, tumblers and other decorative home items, all of which have an old-world patina and the look of precious heirlooms.
