In 1962, pregnant with her first child Nathalie, Sonia Rykiel had a maternity sweater woven for her in Venice based on her own designs. Now Nathalie helps run the company that has expanded to include Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, Rykiel Woman, Rykiel Enfant, and a popular line of men’s clothing and accessories.
