About Tabitha Simmons

Known for her sky-high heels and other fabulous shoes, Tabitha Simmons is one of fashion’s dearest darlings. A former model, Simmons studied film in college before becoming a stylist for fashion designers such as Calvin Klein and Zac Posen. These gigs eventually led her to the role of fashion director at V magazine. In 2009, she launched her eponymous brand with a collection of highly coveted booties, strappy heels and luxurious sandals in an array of colors and prints like python and pink polka dots. The winner of the British Fashion Award for women’s shoe designer in 2011 and the CFDA Swarovski Award in 2012, Simmons counts Charlize Theron and Emma Watson among her fans.

René Caovilla: 80th Anniversary Collection

Luxury shoe icon René Caovilla is celebrating their 80th anniversary this year, and we're joining the party by offering a mix of stunning styles in Gilt-exclusive colors. What's their secret to creating unique and covetable designs year after year? Keeping it in the family. Designer Edoardo Caovilla — third generation Caovilla — is all about mixing tradition and innovation. "I work with both a young team and esteemed Venetian artisans that have incredible skills and a great passion for their work," he says. Treat yourself to couture-like craftsmanship — from snakeskin slingbacks to strappy suede heels with jewel embellishments — and own a part of shoe history.
