Bridesmaids meet downtown fashionistas in Thread Social's line of fun and flirty party frocks. The label is the brainchild of two fashion-industry veterans, designers Beth Blake and Melissa Akey, whose original line, Thread, created stylish looks for bridesmaids. Their many years of experience — Blake worked at Chanel and Vogue, while Akey was a buyer and stylist for Barneys — combine to make a dynamite line of party dresses geared for the on-the-go New York girl. Famous for their flattering silhouettes, Thread Social styles have been featured in Marie Claire, Vogue, Elle, InStyle, and Glamour.
