In 2007, Taylor M. Llewellyn got so fed up with his corporate job that he quit it to launch Tucker Blair: his Washington, D.C.-based line of whimsical needlepoint belts and other products. Made of pure wool yarn and cotton, full-grain leather, and other high-quality materials, Tucker Blair’s belts come in a range of playful designs: bowties, polo ponies, crabs and beers, American flags, and many more. In addition to its signature belts, Tucker Blair has stitched up a variety of credit card wallets, hats, flasks, and flip flops over the years; its purple polka-dotted women’s headband even showed up on Gossip Girl and in Elle magazine.
