World-renowned designer Josef Arzili formed his Azaara costume jewelry collection out of two of his Arzili Couture jewelry lines — one featuring hand-cut crystals, the other based on gold filigree. Both collections still exist under the Azaara umbrella, which also features lines inspired by nature, Paris, Florentine design, the Byzantine era, and porcelain. Turquoise, yellow gold-dipped sterling silver, and freshwater pearls are just some of the many materials featured in Azaara’s extensive collection of earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets. One of the label’s top-selling pieces is the snake ring, which comes in either rhodium and cubic zirconia (the snake coils around the finger) or labradorite and gold-dipped sterling silver (the snake undulating around the front of the labradorite stone). Based in Los Angeles, Azaara has attracted a celebrity fan base that includes Jessica Simpson, Jodie Foster, and Salma Hayek.
