Vanishing Elephant brings a bit of Savile Row refinement to the Land Down Under — designing men’s and women’s clothing that, in the label’s own words, is “made to love and last.” Up-and-coming designers Felix Chan, Huw Bennett, and Arran Russell launched Vanishing Elephant in 2008 to provide a counterpoint to the Aussie fashion scene’s relentless trend-chasing tendency (though these hard-wearing basics have since been picked up at all manner of trendy places, Urban Outfitters included). The Vanishing Elephant collection includes solid-color tees, woven socks, and other wardrobe staples as well as tightly tailored classics inspired by Sydney’s underground culture of the 20th century — think striped button-down shirts in loose cotton poplin, leather bomber jackets in olive green, slim wool trousers, and shoes and Burnett desert boots in richly colored suede.
It's a natural inclination to reach for darker colors during the dreary winter months. Equally as natural (and on trend) once the weather starts warming up? Here, we've got everything you need to layer up in style — starring fashion stylist and man about town Ian Bradley — plus the season's coolest sweaters, sweatshirts, and more, from brands like John Varvatos, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and 7 for All Mankind.
Featuring pants in hues from khaki to gray to olive and more, as well as always-cool camo, this sale features a ton of stylish ways to keep cool in style this summer.
