It started with an a-ha moment, when graphic designer Christine Johnson looked through her husband's closet and imagined how the market for boys' clothing could be transformed with just a few tweaks to fabrics and tailoring. And so, in 2004, Wonderboy was born, a collection of East Coast cool styles high on comfort, quality, and mix-and-match versatility. Stun came next, with an emphasis on "feminine minus the frilly and pretty without the precious." The result: a collection that can hang with the boys, with fun tees and easy dresses and skirts in comfortable fabrics and a fresh color palette — plus the occasional darling detail.
