Designed by a team of Harvard graduates, scientists, and educators, this award-winning Adventure Science Series is a series of fun and exciting science kits for younger children that stimulates their innate desire to learn and discover. This hands-on exploration will give children an educational science adventure that will last a lifetime. This 8-Piece series includes one each of the following kits: magic magnets, wacky weather, chemistry blast, awesome bubbles, water splash, ultimate illusions, zany crystals and volcano madness.

Includes:

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Magic Magnets:

Young Scientists make pins magically jump, create magnetic faces, construct an underwater magnet, and fish for metal objects. Magnetic puppets will delight all during the puppet show and magic finger soccer finishes the kit with a GOAL!

Wacky Weather:

Young Scientists become true meteorologists when they build their own wind meter, scientifically measure rainfall, and use a real thermometer to read daily temperatures. All measurements are then recorded with colorful stickers on a fun wall chart. The kit finishes with fun classic weather sayings that explain real weather concepts.

Chemistry Blast:

Young Scientists create sticky ice, remove gas from soda, and make a flower change colors. The kit finishes with Young Scientists using test tubes, filter paper, and a funnel to separate a mixture of materials and making an explosion that will excite any budding scientist.

Awesome Bubbles:

Young Scientists make the ultimate bubble solution and use this solution to make many amazing bubbles - giant bubbles, bubble chains, three-dimensional shaped bubbles, bubbles coming out of a bubble harmonica, and much more. This creation and study of bubbles will excite Young Scientists as these awesome bubbles are formed and float away.

Water Splash:

Young Scientists perform amazing water tricks, construct a submarine, build water towers on pennies, learn about siphon science, make pepper jump, mold boats out of clay, create rain in a sponge, and use water drops as a magnifier. This kit is a splashin' the sink or tub and will delight Young Scientists with hours of water fun.

Ultimate Illusions:

Young Scientists build a periscope to spy around corners, create an underwater rainbow, delve into concave and convex mirrors, explore tricky illusions, make reverse reflections, and have fun with rainbow glasses. This kit finishes with kaleidoscopes galore that will excite Young Scientists with hours of illusionary fun as they explore the world of light and mirrors.

Zany Crystals:

Young Scientists explore crystal shapes, create crystal art, grow ice crystals, design a salt crystal garden, and grow crystal stars. This crystal adventure is at its best with the creation and growing of real rock candy which will surely become a tasty treat for all Young Scientists alike.

Volcano Madness:

Young Scientists discover volcanoes and their structures by creating and designing a volcano and by getting to touch, feel, and experiment with real volcanic rock called pumice. Ultimate explosion solutions are created by measuring and mixing different substances in test tubes. This kit finishes with the roaring experience of volcanic eruptions that Young Scientists will want to repeat over and over again.

For more than a decade, The Young Scientists Club has inspired and engaged children with hands-on games, activities, and experiments that make science fun and fascinating. Founded in 1999 by Esther Novis, a Harvard graduate and mother of five, The Young Scientists Club began as a summer science camp for her five-year-old son. When friends around the country wanted in, Novis packaged the experiments and mailed them off. The entrepreneur's fan base grew quickly — today, her team of scientists, educators, and parents mail the kits to thousands of children around the world, and sell them in thousands of specialty stores.
