Michael McCaleb and Chad Tovey founded Zuriick in 2006 after searching for the perfect pair of shoes and coming away empty-handed. The designing duo launched their label with a short run of the Ake, a rubber-soled, canvas upper that quickly caught on with the casual-cool crowd. From those modest beginnings, the Salt Lake City-based label has expanded its line of simple, lightweight, and stylish footwear to include multicolored canvas lace-ups (the Beata), men’s and women’s leather pull-on boots, and canvas dress shoes. The brand's "USA boots" series, a collaboration with Nick's Boots, features burgundy, stacked-heel boots and other styles made in Spokane, Washington.

Sure, you can lose the tie when the weekend hits (though you don't have to), but that doesn’t mean it’s time to slip into your finest sweatsuit and pretend it’s proper clothing. Make sure your off-the-clock look is up to snuff with this collection of casual gear. It’s everything you need to keep that style kicking on Saturday and Sunday.
Within this range of minimalist sneakers you can see the line’s genesis. It started off with the simple Ake, a handsome slip on available in leather and canvas, and soon progressed to the Beata, a mid-top canvas sneaker with contrasting trim. Now the line includes the hi-top Kettle as well as the Parker, a classic lo-top model that comes in bright lagoon blue.
