Michael McCaleb and Chad Tovey founded Zuriick in 2006 after searching for the perfect pair of shoes and coming away empty-handed. The designing duo launched their label with a short run of the Ake, a rubber-soled, canvas upper that quickly caught on with the casual-cool crowd. From those modest beginnings, the Salt Lake City-based label has expanded its line of simple, lightweight, and stylish footwear to include multicolored canvas lace-ups (the Beata), men’s and women’s leather pull-on boots, and canvas dress shoes. The brand's "USA boots" series, a collaboration with Nick's Boots, features burgundy, stacked-heel boots and other styles made in Spokane, Washington.
