Order Management Analyst

Gilt Groupe is seeking an Order Analyst who has a knack for resolving complex issues related to the distribution of, and payment for, online orders.  The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter who has previous experience working with 3rd party service in an extremely customer-centric environment. This is a part-time position, approximately 20 or so hours per week.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research via online tools and direct customer communication
  • Perform trend analysis to develop and maintain rule sets that help identify unusual behavior
  • Analyze, monitor, and research behavior on Gilt Groupe websites in order to limit potentially harmful activity
  • File and manage claims with primary transportation providers
  • Respond to, and manage, casework from payment providers
  • Establish and maintain standards for customer support team members

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience handling sensitive customer information
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Self-starter, ambitious in nature
  • Ability to analyze information and make decisions based on limited information
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt when exposed to new information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
  • Requires shift-work, including weekends
  • Prior knowledge of order risk management software is a plus
