Your role as an engineer is to drive the evolution of each feature along the way, and your input is treated as that of a highly valued expert. You are encouraged to always think outside the box to come up with creative solutions to difficult user experience problems.

Our machine learning and recommendations team offers a great opportunity to apply your knowledge of data mining, using statistics to drive predictive modeling and recommendation applications on large dynamic e-commerce data sets. You will be able to conceptualize creative ways to add value to the Gilt experience by analyzing and utilizing customer data in innovative ways. So – you ask yourself – what tools will I get to use to mine and analyze this data? Great questions! At Gilt, we use the latest open source tools out there to give our engineers as much free reign as possible over any and all the data they can dream up. You will be able to work on real time recommendations, optimization problems, and personalizing the shopping experience for our members.
