The following Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a member of the Gilt Groupe community. Don't forget that your use of Gilt Groupe is subject to these Guidelines and our Terms of Use.

The Gilt Groupe community is made up of many different types of people, who all have the right to feel comfortable and who may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.

* Venting, ranting, using hate speech or boring our designer socks off
Gilt Groupe is not a place to vent personal frustrations or rant about issues. Please keep hateful and incendiary comments off Gilt Groupe. Gilt Groupe is not a venue for you to harass, abuse, impersonate, or intimidate others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we’ll delete any content associated with your account. Don't post things that are incomprehensible, and don't post the same thing over and over again.
* Being mean or obscene
Explicit and vulgar language are unchic. We do not tolerate belligerence, insults, slurs and generally objectionable speech. If you wouldn't say it in public, don't say it on Gilt Groupe.
* Don’t use Gilt Groupe for commercial purposes.
The Gilt Groupe community is a place for you to share your opinions, not sell your business! If we find you pursuing commercial interests through the community features, we will not post your commercial content. If we see comments with containing copy that pursue commercial interests, we reserve the right to remove them. Also prohibited are solicitations like "Will you add me as a contact?" or propositioning people. Don't post links to other sites. Don’t create multiple accounts to push your interests or your own agenda.
* Violating the law
Members of Gilt Groupe are not above the law, so don't post anything that violates the laws of your country, state, province, or city. Don't try to trick people into sharing their personal information, steal anything (like copyright or trademark material), or break into places you shouldn't be. Don't threaten, harass, impersonate, or hurt others, and don't invade other people's privacy.
