Director, Relationship Marketing

Gilt Groupe provides invitation-only access to high-end fashion and luxury brands at highly discounted prices. The company currently works with a roster of nearly 400 up-and-coming and established brands in the women's, men's, children's, beauty, and home fashion categories.

Gilt Groupe was founded by an experienced team with proven track records at successful luxury fashion companies. Gilt Groupe is a fully funded company and is currently based in the vibrant Chelsea neighborhood in New York City.

The Director, Relationship Marketing will lead and coordinate top member relations.  S/he will oversee list management, direct member outreach and communication and CRM related responsibilities. The position requires an understanding of best practices in customer retention practices, assessment and scoring.   Experience in luxury marketing a plus.

Job Duties:


•    Drive strategic vision and tactical direction for all top member outreach and retention.
•    Effectively partner with multiple company departments and external team members to ensure solutions meet all business needs. Must be able to work with Information Technology and Finance departments to ensure business requirements can be properly supported. Must be able to provide guidance, information and prioritization of resources for third party partners, vendors, and key operational staff.
•    Define and set new marketing programs and positioning for consumers.
•    Prepare effective written correspondence and present information in a group setting. Communicate frequently with management and business partners to clarify and resolve system issues/ concerns. Occasionally, present to executive staff proposals, recommendations, or provide status reports.
•    Hire and establish a team when needed.
•    Oversee and maintain a targeted CRM program.  Work with Customer support to oversee development of “high touch” service solution
•    Responsible for managing local events and functions, when needed.

Qualifications:


•    10+ years’ experience in marketing. Ecommerce experience a plus
•    Highly quantitative and analytical marketer
•    Experience in assessing and recommending leading solutions to high touch customer support a plus.
•    Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent presentation and meeting leader skills
•    Self-starter / self-motivated, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
•    Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
•    Must be detail oriented
