Business Operations Analyst

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Operations Strategy and Project Management, the Business Operations Analyst will support corporate goals and objectives by providing analytical leadership through operations planning, reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses a broad understanding of business goals and has had experience in an operations environment.  This position will be based between our Chelsea and Brooklyn Navy Yard locations, and will also provide support to the Pre-Sale Operations, Creative Production, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Customer Service organizations.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

•    Translate business forecasts into operational forecasts and requirements to help guide decision making for operations projects to support growth 
•    Identify, build on, track and analyze key metrics for each operational area of the business, all focused on meeting strategic goals
•    Identify opportunities, via qualitative and quantitative analysis, to more efficiently and effectively run operations
•    Act as the Operations team lead to retrieve and analyze information from various data warehouse systems
•    Lead or support ad hoc projects, assignments and implementations as needed

Requirements, Skills & Knowledge:

•    A strong academic record and 2+ years of experience (or an advanced degree)
•    Excellent understanding of operational concepts and operational modeling capabilities
•    High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•    Ability to communicate (oral, written and numerical) to all levels of the organization
•    Troubleshoots and resolves issues independently
•    Manages multiple projects with a keen attention to detail
•    Meets and manages deadlines effectively
•    Self-motivated and self-directed, with a positive attitude
•    Accepts responsibility, accountability and takes pride in his/her work
