Sales Operations Coordinator

Job Description:
The Sales Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, serves as a hub of communication for all external departments involved in the sales cycle (Merchandising, Warehouse Operations, Creative, Planning), and shall be responsible for activities focused on maximizing the effectiveness of the sales organization. The successful candidate will lead the complicated coordination of multiple calendars (sales, photo shoots, warehouse) and shall serve as the project manager who ensures that deadlines are met across various function areas of the organization. In addition, the Sales Operations Coordinator will not only enforce process, but shall strive for continuous process improvement and the implementation of best practices in support of sales and operations initiatives.
This position will split time between our Chelsea and Brooklyn locations, 75% and 25% respectively. Transportation assistance is provided for the Brooklyn location.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Communicate with diverse merchandising teams to obtain updates for multiple sales/operations schedules and tasks
• Track all aspects of the sale process to ensure target timelines are being met; this includes sample tracking, bulk receipt, reconciliation, cycle count requests, copywriting, retouching, etc.
• Conduct research into inventory: monitor un-photographed inventory, identify opportunity for repeat sales, off-site sample sales and donation
• Monitor and update multiple sales calendars/tools
• Monitor and update “Quick Picks” recommendations, including fielding requests from merchandising teams and following up with images from the creative team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years work experience, ecommerce experience a plus
• Ability to analyze, manipulate and interpret data
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented and able to multitask and respond to changing priorities
• Ability to asses and resolve situational problems/issues in a timely manner
