Responsibilities

  • Forecasting Sales and Gross Margin vs. Plan by Department and by Brand/Sale.
  • Developing Sales, Margin and Inventory Plans, by department.
  • Creating an Open-to-Buy, by department.
  • Work closely with the Buyer to establish a concise and executable merchandise plan mix.
  • Make recommendations and execute markdowns with merchandise team.
  • Follow up with the merchants on receipt status and flag any concerns with receipt flow which will affect schedules.
  • Develop Key statistic reports.
  • Develop Monthly Reporting package.
  • Perform size scale analysis.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and to work as part of a team.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, ambitious in nature, good with people.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment.
  • Excellent English communication - verbal and written.
  • Excellent time management/project skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.
  • Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner.
  • Goal orientated: ability to stay focused.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising financials and ability to manage profitability.
